MOSCOW, Nov 5 (PRIME) – Russia’s power consumption will rise by 1% in 2019, Energy Minister Alexander Novak said at a meeting of the United Russia party faction in the State Duma, parliament’s lower chamber, on Tuesday.
“This year we expect about 1%,” Novak said.
Russia’s electric power consumption grew 1.6% in 2018 to 1.076 trillion kilowatt-hours (kWh), and the production 1.7% to 1.092 trillion kWh, according to dispatching company System Operator.
